Patterns

Grandparent's Day

 Last week we celebrated our Grandparents at Parkview!  It was so nice to meet everyone and great to see the kids interact with their family members!  Students loved showing them around and tell them more about their school. 

 We did a little program for our parents that they all seemed to enjoy.  Our poem called Glasses was a big hit and we just had to finish with the Tooty Ta!

Fire Safety

 Last week we did lots of great learning about fire safety!  We mixed up the Kindergarten classrooms and traveled to each of the rooms to do more learning with other Kindergarten students. 

 We made a fireman puppet!

We talked a lot about having a fire safety plan at your house and a meeting place for your family when you get out of your house.  Hopefully you have talked about these things at home!

Ipods

 We had our first ipod lesson this week!  It was quite fun to teach 25 students how to use an ipod!  Students learned how to take a picture of themselves and send the pictures to me in my my email!  Roger's picture is very good!

Patterns

This week we found patterns everywhere!  We even had students wear patterns to school!  It was a great way to learn patterns.  Students are very comfortable with AB patterns!
