Michael and Lilly were the first 2 students in our room to read all of the popcorn words!  Great job!  There are some more students that are very close!

Humpty Dumpty Experiment

Two weeks ago Humpty Dumpty was our poem of the week.  We ended the week with a fun science experiment with real eggs.
!
Students have their clipboards ready and can't wait to see what happens to Humpty Dumpty

Students guessed first on what they thought might happen to Humpty.  We put Humpty Dumpty in lots of different soft things, feathers, cotton balls, beans, felt.  Then we dropped him from the boat to see if he would crack.

Mrs. Carpenter checked Humpty and student recorded what really happened.

Graphing and Silly Sunglass Day

We are learning a lot in Kindergarten.  In math we learned how to make a graph.  Miss Hart had each of us make our own birthday cupcake and we graphed when we celebrate our birthdays.  We have a lot of April birthdays!
Ss week was 2 weeks ago and boy did we have fun!  We finished the week with Silly Sunglass Day.  Check out all the cool shades!

It was a fun way to end the week!

Patterns

We have been learning about patterns during our math time.  Miss Hart did a great lesson where the students became the colors and they had to create a color pattern.  Of course we used blue and gold!  Go Woo!

Red Day

These were 2 of my favorite red t shirts!  They are good buddies too!
Last week was Mm week and we learned about sorting, so we HAD to pull out some m&ms and have fun!
Last week was Derrick's birthday and it just happened to be on red day!  He brought us some delicious red Twizzlers!
